The new XCLusive Racing platform keeps getting better, and this update is a big one. Here is everything that is new, plus a look at where we are heading.

Events in every timezone

Starting next week, the website will be uploading events across all timezones. That means more choice, more variety, and a race that fits your schedule no matter where in the world you are. Wherever you live, there will be a grid waiting for you.

Safety Rating: how it works

Clean racing is everything to us, and our Safety Rating system is at the heart of it.

Every newcomer enters the league with a 4.0 Safety Rating. To compete in all of our events, you will need to reach 5.0 SR. This applies to veteran drivers too, though we naturally expect our experienced racers to be carrying a higher rating than that.

Your SR is directly tied to our penalty system. Reporting a driver can lead to a penalty, and penalties cost SR. So if you want to keep the track clean and the racing close, we strongly encourage you to report incidents when they happen. It genuinely makes the grids better for everyone.

The new report system also lets you hide your name. The driver you report will not be able to see who filed the report or the videos attached to it. Only our stewards will know. You can report with complete confidence.

The new Dashboard

One of the biggest improvements is the fully optimised Dashboard, and with so many new events being posted, it is more useful than ever.

The Dashboard will always show your next three upcoming races. With no filter applied it is designed to mix events across different game titles, though for now it displays ACC Console events only. It is the fastest way to see what is coming up and jump straight in.

Leaderboards are live

Our leaderboards are now fully functioning. You can see the driver with the most rating gain every week and every month, a great way to track who is on form.

Want to know where you stand against the rest of the community? Check out the all time XCL Rating leaderboard. Thousands of members are already ranked, but here is the exciting part: the first Legend is still to be born. Could it be you?

The Roadmap: what's coming next

We are just getting started. Here is what is on the way.

1. Practice servers

Practice servers are coming. Each one will be set one hour before its event and hosted on XCL Server 5. Because we now run so many events, we can no longer offer 24 hour practice servers, but in return we are working to bring accurate, detailed weather, track, and start time information directly to the event sign up page.

2. Championships

We are already partnering with familiar names who will soon be hosting championships, each running their own complete rule and penalty systems. The Dashboard will display championship events too, so keep an eye out for these.

3. Time Trial

XCL once hosted one of the biggest time trial leaderboards in sim racing, with tens of thousands of lap times ranked across every track. It is coming back, and we may even open up additional time trial events alongside it.

4. Memberships

Next up is activating payment systems on the website. Once live, this will let us offer paid plans and other great features, from extra stats to exclusive extras, all while helping XCLusive Racing keep growing and developing. If you would like to support us right now, please consider a PayPal donation on the website. Every bit helps us keep the servers running and the platform thriving.

5. ACC PC and beyond

Once everything is running smoothly, we turn to new titles. The most natural next step is ACC PC, and as you have already seen on the events screen, we are aiming to host LMU PC, LMU Console, and iRacing events in the future too.

There is much more still to come. Keep your eyes peeled, and we will see you on track.
