Privacy Policy

XCLusive Racing is a sim racing community platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used. The controller of your personal data is:

• XCLusive Gaming Events (trading as XCLusive Racing)

When you create an account we collect:

• Your name and e-mail address
• Your gaming platform and platform ID (Steam, Xbox Gamertag, PSN Online ID)
• Your country
• Your team name (optional)
• Connected accounts you choose to link (Discord, Steam, Xbox, PlayStation)
• Race registrations, results, and XCL Rating history generated by your participation

When you buy a XCL Supporter membership we also keep:

• Your membership plan, its status and until when it is paid
• Your payments: amount, date, status and the reference of our payment provider

• To create and display your public driver profile
• To manage event registrations and race results
• To calculate your XCL Rating and Safety Rating
• To send event-related notifications
• To enforce platform rules (e.g. suspensions)
• To run your membership: take payments, unlock your perks and your Discord supporter role
• To keep our financial records, as the law requires

We process this data to perform our agreement with you (your account and membership), to comply with legal obligations (bookkeeping), and for our legitimate interest in running fair events.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

Payments are handled by Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). You enter your payment details on Mollie's own payment page: we never see or store your card number or bank login. Mollie gives us the status of each payment and, for automatic renewals, a reference to your payment method. Mollie processes your data under its own privacy statement.

• Public visitors — can see your driver profile: name, platform, country, XCL Rating and race history
• Platform admins — can see all profile data to manage events and enforce rules
• Service providers — our hosting provider, Mollie (payments) and Discord (if you link your account), only as far as needed for their service
• Your e-mail address, password and payment details are never shown publicly

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. If you want your account removed, contact us and we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Race results may be retained in anonymised form for historical records. Payment records are kept for 7 years, because Dutch tax law requires it.

We use only essential session cookies required to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict its use. E-mail [email protected] to exercise these rights. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
