Something new is coming to XCLusive Racing, and we need your help to make it happen.
We are testing our very first driver swap race, a brand new event format built around teamwork, strategy, and shared time behind the wheel. This is the first time we are testing driver swaps in short daily events using our new automated system, and if the test is a success, we will be able to set these up quickly and offer them just like any other daily event.
What is a driver swap race?
Instead of racing solo, you and a teammate share a single car across the race, swapping over partway through. It adds a whole new layer of strategy to our events, from planning your stint lengths to nailing a clean handover, and it opens the door to proper team racing on a daily basis.

Here is everything you need to know for the test:
**SATURDAY 5 SEPTEMBER @ 7PM BST **
Circuit: Silverstone
Format: 60 minute race
Start time: 7:00 PM BST
Eligibility: All ratings and all members are welcome to take part
Both drivers will receive a rating for the race, so every stint counts.
How to sign up
Getting involved is simple. First, find your teammate. Then head to Racing and open My Teams to create your team. Once your team is set, sign up for the event and you are locked in.
One important note: if you have multiple people from the same team who want to race, you will need to create separate teams for each pairing right now. Each entry needs its own team.
