The Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Virtual Championship is one of the most unique competitions in sim racing, and XCLusive drivers are right in the thick of it.

Now in its latest season, the championship brings together multiple platforms under one banner, with drivers choosing between Assetto Corsa Competizione on console or PC, Gran Turismo 7, iRacing, and the newly added Le Mans Ultimate. Everyone races the same machine, the Mercedes-AMG GT3, and while drivers compete only against others from their own title and division, every result feeds into one overall Virtual Championship leaderboard. The season runs across six race days from August to October, and the rewards on offer are special, with the headline prizes centred on real-world Mercedes-AMG experiences rather than hardware.

It is a fitting stage for our drivers to show what the purple banner is made of, and across ACC Console and iRacing, they have been doing exactly that.

A champion comes to console, and Faar is waiting

The standout storyline of our campaign is unfolding in the ACC Console top split, and it is a good one.

Elie Debons, a Williams Esports driver and last year's Virtual Championship winner, has come to console this season to prove he can claim the title on a different platform. Twelve months ago he took the crown ahead of Luca Gönnheimer, now part of our own LMU roster. This year, a new challenger stands in his way, and his name is Fabio "Faar" Plaku.

At Snetterton, Faar was every bit Debons' equal. Arguably, he was even quicker. But the tight, flowing British circuit is notoriously difficult to overtake on, and try as he might, Faar could not find a way past to claim the top step. He qualified second in both sessions and converted both into runner-up finishes, shadowing the champion across Race 1 and Race 2 without ever being able to make the decisive move.

Two P2s might not tell the full story of his pace, but they keep him right in the fight. This battle is far from over.

ACC Console: consistency at the front

Faar's double podium anchors our ACC Console effort in Division 1. Qualifying second twice and finishing second twice is the kind of consistency that wins seasons, and he has put himself in a commanding position for the rounds ahead.

Alongside him, Sergio Hernández showed the fighting spirit we love to see. A disconnect in the first qualifying session left him at the very back of the grid, but he refused to let the weekend get away from him, recovering to seventeenth in Race 1. He carried that momentum into the second race, climbing from fifteenth on the grid to twelfth by the flag. A tough start turned into a solid recovery, and exactly the kind of resilience that pays off over a championship.

iRacing: Martinz on the pace at Oulton Park

Over on iRacing, Michael Martinz has been flying the flag in Division 2, and Oulton Park delivered a mixed but promising weekend.

He started sharp, qualifying third and converting it into a podium with a strong P3 in the opening race. The second race proved harder work. Another third on the grid unfortunately slipped away to tenth by the finish, but the underlying pace was clear all weekend. A podium and a front-running qualifying record are plenty to build on.

The fight continues

From a top split duel with a reigning champion to gritty recovery drives and podium pace, our drivers are proving they belong at the sharp end of the AMG Virtual Championship. With several race days still to come, there is everything to race for. Keep it purple, and let's go and chase that title.
